24. We've seen time and again in American football that when the head coach is also the general manager, it very rarely works. Man United definitely need a sporting director, and stop having the manager essentially act as the sporting director, too. I agree with Gary 100 percent. And you can blame the Glazers — leaders of an organization or company or sports team ALWAYS set the culture for that company or team, and the Glazers have created a horrible culture at Man United, which results in what we see now.
