  1. After 9 days, I've found this by random and I strongly agree with Carra that Poch has been the best thing to happen to Chelsea, not the players. Me, I even believe Poch is the best thing to happen to Chelsea since the departure of Tüchel.

  2. I can see the fear in Carra's eyes when he says "its the manager not the players". Deep down he knows these players are just a few months away from blowing everyone away. Jackson is massively underrated. He's going to be one of the best strikers on the planet very soon. Disasi, Badiashile, Colwill will be some of the best center backs in the world. Yes, Chelsea lack a goalkeeper, but that's not the most important position on the pitch anyway.

  3. Liverpool city in 2 weeks is gonna be a treat to watch. Can Liverpool hurt city just like Chelsea? I think they can and also id say they have more quality particularly in attack but the match will be very entertaining.

  4. If Chelsea had spent big money on older, more “established” players and let the manager decide transfers then people would still be criticizing them. Man United have been pursuing that strategy for years and it’s gotten them nowhere.

  5. I feel like poch is mostly happy with the squad. He himself added – Palmer, caicedo, Lavia, nkunku, disasi, and Jackson. Additionally, he rated mudryk very highly, and speaks highly of Enzo and Gallagher. There’s no world where he doesn’t start a healthy Reece James or chillwell. He likes curcurella, gusto, and chukwuemeka. He also chose to purchase ugochukwu. And lest we forget about Wesley fofana who hasn’t had an opportunity to shine yet due to injury. He also chose Robert Sanchez, specifically not wanting to go for onana. Sanchez is young and one of the higher rated young keepers. He’s made some mistakes but he’s improving. We also have slonina, who is only 19 and the future of goal for the US.

  6. Yes correct Chelsea were the slightly better team and City didn’t play well at all but we still got a 4 all draw away from home and remain top of the league.

Damn we missed John Stones yesterday.

  7. I have been to the game since we sucked Thomas Tuchel. Honestly it was amazing, some defending mistakes which I thought were due to communications ( I am not manager) but 11 and subs who worked their socks off. Jackson honestly he might not take his chances sometimes but boy he works tirelessly. And the midfield I think we developing some serious team chemistry I love it.
Above all go watch the team guys, I thought Jackson was not working enough when I watched from home. But yesterday boy he worked so hard.
Above even we lost I would have still been proud of the boys cuz the effort they have put.

  8. CS From the US / L' Pool & EPL Fan here
Before the Draw w/ Man City, based on
Previous Play, the Projection for CHELSEA is

    Champions League, probably unlikely, definite
UEFA / Europa League Contenders, and likely
to Qualify for that Competition; They're playing

w/ a better Anticipation and understanding of
one another's strengths and their form would
suggest they could battle Newcastle, Brighton,

Villa, and others for Europe a place or two
below the Top 4, and Tottenham isn't a lock
and ARSENAL has to Answer the Questions

about their 22- 2023 season ending Meltdown,
which is, until that point, an Unknown; Very
    good Performance by Chelsea,

and, as Always, great "post- match"
    Analysis by the Panel

  9. I am no supporter of any of these teams.

I think the result make people ”Chelsea” wow. Chelsea was better.

    But thats false.

It was a bad defensive performance. Non of the goals were over average.

I dont think people understand. This Chelsea team is just as good as during Potter. Great def, great at holding the ball, having ok flow etc.

And almost every goal Chelsea scores is a misstake. And thats why they scored 4 instead or 1. Man city dosnt take this games serious enough. And arsenal the same …

  10. Looks like Chelsea has won or being better, how delusional and desperate is Carragher to see City struggle absolutely embarrassing… Fair result a draw and they weren't better than City at all at the end they got a draw in adding time otherwise would have lost
Im tired of these pundits saying nonsense quite often vs City if they don't win 3-0

  11. I dont understanding the lack of understanding that a team and players can develope over seasons. Thats the whole point of the new model. Get a group of young players togather, let them play and develope togather for even 3 – 4 years. By the end of that you hope you have a group of 24 to 26 year olds who know how to play togather and can complete at the highest level for 5 to 8 years. All these pundints push for win now. The goal is to build something that wont just win one off and then need another 4 year rebuild but one that can sustainable complete for years to come.

  12. Pep was outplayed tactically. Slightly dissapointed that Pep didnt see the mistakes in the first half. They continued doing the same in the second. To many players pressing to high. Chelsea knew this could happen and played long balls to their wingers bypassing the whole midfield. City is very vulnerable when that happens. It was to many attacking midfielders playing at the same time where nobody was thinking about helping the defenders. Maybe City could have made it in a home game but not when they are playing away. To much confidence in their own abilities and not enough respect for Chelseas tactic. When Pep Finally figured it out he put on Grealish and Kovacic. That was better but way to late. City forgot that the game is not only attacking but also defending. A great defence makes always great possibilities for attacking football. It was entertaining game but not very intelligent in my opinion. Hard lesson for City but a neccessary one.

  13. Van Basten and Ronaldo from Brazil would score 50 a season in the modern game. Modern defensive players would get absolutely slaughtered. Football has become touch rugby. Penalties given for everything and anything! The VAR people should be breathalysed before the games. Liverpool, Arsenal and now this game. The EPL should be called…. "English Penalty League".
