  1. Who can blame him feeling this heated when he’s a fan of football at the end of the day? VAR has changed the game for the worse and the reason it hasn’t worked the same way it has in some other sports is because of how much is riding on each VAR call. One decision is life changing money. Two calls? That’s a Thai bungalow, each. There were worms before VAR, but with it has come an infestation. The beautiful orchard that is the EPL, made so by the fans, players, clubs, managers, and principles of fair competition hasn’t gone rot yet, but it is showing worrying signs. Root out the worms swiftly, (in this case the VAR boys taking holidays to the nether regions of the Sahara on a Thursday then flying back to their stations on a Saturday still smelling of hashish, pomegranate juice, and virgins), bring in new soil, and the orchard will thrive again. In other words, fix the worm problem by bringing in/retaining clean refs and installing Hawkeye Technology or some other tech that aims to work objectively. ynwa

  2. I honestly don't mind what he is doing and I commend his efforts for seeking justice. But I really do hope that if the mistakes of the referees and var favours him in any game, he would also speak of the truth. Coming from a city fan

  3. As an Arsenal fan I also had a moment of madness like Arteta but I believe its now time to get on with life and fight with your lives for the shirt you wear and the club you represent. This is not the first time we have been in this situation I had vivid memories of numerous occasions before or after VAR where we lost significant matches including even a CL final to bad refereeing! You gotta collect yourself and be a model for your fans and the club!
As a whole I believe Newcastle's goal apart the refereeing throughout the game was very poor and in several other games over the weekend. Lets face it and live with it. There is still everything to fight for!

  4. Crying about a decision that did not went good for them but I don't see him thanking refrees for not giving havertz the red card😂 double standards decions go in your favour and against but u have the audacity to cry and call out for the ones that went against you and not talk about the one in your favor.

  5. Last year, Man City lost to a blatant offside goal at Old Trafford,,, But they went on & won the league!!! So Arteta & Arsenal, please stop crying, others get ripped off too you know.

  6. Fair enough the ball may or may not have been out. Offside was probably off the table. Let's say the ref didn't see the push with both hands as a foul even though its clearly a foul. The ball clearly hit Newcastle player's hands and went to Gordon who scored. Are these professional referees really that dumb that they miss one incident because they are focusing on something else and get tunnel vision.
