  1. Human error will always be involved cause VAR is operated by humans. I think its impossible to "vanish" that aspect till technology in general has improved so far that a machine without emotions and human input makes the critical decisions.

  2. Why is it that the so called best league in the world has problems with refs. England is struggling with VAR more than all the other leagues. Yes perhaps these mistakes are highlighted more cause not everyone watches serie a or ligue 1.

  3. What's got to stop is the bad mistakes being made by officials . It's every week now. I think clubs have every right to feel hard done by. And release statements. If he feels entitled to make his statement, why not those that have been on the end of terrible decisions.

  4. 🚹UPDATE: The decision to award Newcastle United's winning goal against Arsenal was correct according to the Premier League's Key Match Incidents panel ✅ 09/11/23

  5. You must understand one thing – Arteta is an agemate that is succeeding in that one thing that scares these former players shitless – MANAGING A TOP TEAM, SUCCESSFULLY.

This is what unites Carra, Gary, the ESPN crew.

Give Arteta a team and hus eloquence will dry up.

Arteta has proven that he has:

    1. A football mind

    2. A Spine

    3. Those TINGS!

  6. Seriously
Liverpool literally did the same thing – and rightfully so. Those weren’t “mistakes” – you can’t see Guimares smash Jorginho in the head without the ball around and not send the ref to the screen
it wasn’t even the goal (as crazy as that was) it was the clear red card on 45th min.

  7. How is it nonsense ?? Exposing referees for the so called errors every week which now look like match fixing. How can same errors happen and now you condemn Arteta did he make the mistake. Don’t forget freedom of Speech is a democratic right no one is above the law. Being angry about wrong decisions by referees now Cara uses this platform to advocate for penalties against Arteta. Referees ? ,are they the bosses of football or officials for the game nothing more

  8. It's just sour grapes.

If youre really concerned about refereeing/VAR then come.together and make a joint statement with the other clubs. Don't just badmouth it after a defeat.

  9. When players and managers make mistakes they cost THEMSELVES points and get punished.. they also often lose their jobs. Referees should NOT be responsible for the swing of points in a game and the costing of millions in prize money, or the loss of jobs for other professionals. Just simply the incompetence, crucially WITHOUT any real repercussions, is what should NOT be accepted. Arsenal lost the championship by 5 points after PGMOL came out and admitted to 3 separate errors that cost arsenal MORE than 5 points last season.. now its happening again.. so no Jamie having a go at the manager speaking out while at the end of his rope on this one is not an acceptable stance either, as much as u hate Arsenal, Arteta or want to make "good TV".
