  1. As a Toon fan I want to see Jose Mourinho come in later on after Eddie’s reign comes to an end… can’t shake the fantasy of seeing him carry on Sir Bobby’s legacy and doing what he couldn’t do and winning us the Champions League one day

  2. Wor Eddie is gannin nee where! Saved us from Relegation and 1st full season has had us to a cup final and looking very possible to finish in the top 4. The man keeps exceeding expectations. He loves the Toon and the Toon love him. Silly to suggest anybody else.

  3. I really don't think you media guys have truly worked out how Brentford has got where they are over the past 12 years. It's not about one man, nor one player. Or at least if it is then that 'one' man is Matthew Benham, who cannily appreciates the management team – not just the coach, though he's a very important member of that team – plays as much a crucial role in the development and overall success of the club as the players in the full squad chosen to represent them on the field. If Thomas Frank is tempted by the mega-bucks good luck to him, but remember his character and ambition would've been fully assessed before he came to the club. I'm delighted how people in the game seem completely unable to work this out. How much has Chelsea's team cost? Yet, genuinely how much input did Potter have in saying which of these players actually came to the club? When, for instance, the motive for spending a ludicrous amount of money on someone like Mudryk appears to be solely down to getting one over on one of your main rivals. Surely this is very pinnacle of arrogant stupidity. Yes, Chelsea (and plenty of other clubs too), are still yet to work out that all the money in the world doesn't necessarily get you a good team, let alone a Premiership title. By all means invite a group of individuals into your club, but if they're incapable or simply unable to play within a team structure, then whoever the club is they're never going to able to reach the heights of their potential, let alone desire. More buzz to the Bees, I say.

  4. Sometimes James just comes out with something that is wrong but I know he knows it. Emery has finishes much higher than 7th with many clubs. I feel like picking 7th place was a nod to the hegemony of the Sky 6. With the right resources 7th will be a doddle.

  5. I think Erik ten Hag is perfect for United, but not perfect enough. The rumours I heard these days are the players are getting tired of his conservatory. Matter of fact, he rarely takes responsibility for himself whenever the team lost, which could make the players feel guilty even when they have worked beyond overloaded. Some say his blaming habit is gradually taking him out of this position. Yeah it may be good collectively because it is straight forward to club’s success, but not so good in term of personnel management. Ten Hag, should not be as bad as Conte’s situation, but it’s time to improve. I believe he could be better. That’s just my perspective! Decent boss, but not a great godfather!

  6. Potter turned down spurs so why would De Zerbi go to that disaster of a club. This was supposed to be the best for your club not what you have left over after the "big 6" come knocking. Kovac wasnt even in the list when we replaced Potter either.
