  1. I’m sorry but I don’t get Micah’s point. Why is the goal keeping position sacred. All positions need to endure rotation. If your CB changes you need to adapt as a goal keeper and it should be the same vice versa. Saying you then go into the transfer market in January because of a long term injury is very reactive. It’s Man UTD like…. You can’t blow a title challenge because you didn’t have enough depth

  2. I agree with Roy it’s no difference from creating competition from different positions on the pitch. How many times have we seen it before in big games or normal games number 1 gk is out and the mediocre number 2 cant do his job or is a bit slacking or can’t keep pace. Think Gk need to change their mindsets and Man up a little mentally and embrace the competition
Prime example Manu had De gea in goal for years without a proper no2 even when he was having bad games he was still the best option to put in goal because they never had a decent or strong number 2 or a another strong number 1 and suffered facts

  3. Micha just perfectly explained Keane’s point that competition will lead to having a better goalkeeper whilst trying to argue against that exact point 😂

  4. I though one of DeGeas few weak points was defending the 6 yrd box when crosses came in it seems Onana hasn't improved that weak point the best performance I e seen was Tom Heaton's so far this season in Pre season…

  5. Typically a team has a main GK, a backup GK, and a squad GK. However, from what I have seen, when the main GK is not doing well, they don’t promote the backup GK or the squad GK. They go and sign a new GK to replace the main GK.

  6. getting rid of de gea was a waste of money and then getting mount when you have mctominay sold smalling in replace of maguire its constant BS decisions no wonder their sunk its a miracle they haven't gone bankrupt

  7. Micah is wrong when he says it does not work when the inferior GK left, because that is exactly is the objective leaving only the better GK plays for the club.
