  1. Where is the logic in this lol So Chelsea completely destroyed this market, put them in S. They removed deadwood such as Mount and Kai for solid dolls and a number of other players.

Are we completely forget the caicedo and Lavia saga, signed two key targets Liverpool would beg to have. Signed young quality players with high ceiling. Not to mention we held onto Colwill, England and Chelsea future.

Imagine Arsenal/ United was to do this kind of business they would class it as a masterclass lol What the hell are these bums talking about

  2. How to figure out of someone is a Englishman. Asked about any brilliant player abroad and the say they are worthless. One match in PL and all of a sudden they are awesome. Ask about a mediocre player with a British passport and they could rave about them for 15 minutes straight.

  3. Since they didn't cover Liverpool s window properly- here it is:

Gave up Bellingham (where they ever gonna get him anyway)
Signed Macca and Szoboz early. (Macca very cheap and Szoboz looks like a fantastic player)
Lost Hendo and Fabinho (Losing Hendo is a big loss tbh)
Speculative bid on Caicedo – failed (not sure how serious this bid really was. felt like it was just agents playing games to get more money)
Lost Lavia (he chose being second choice to feeling second choice – and seems to be struggling to even make the bench now – so i think its a bullet dodged tbh)
Signed Endo (Couldn't disagree with Lyres more about Endo – just because you hadnt heard much about him, doesnt mean he's not a good player. He's basically the Japanese Milner less 6 years. Primarily a DM, but can play FB and CB. Engine on him. Captain of country and previous club. No-one has anything bad to say about him. Seems a very sound signing for 16m)
Signed Gravenberch (someone who's been on the list for a while and is highly rated – even if they left it late, got him for a good fee)

They needed a revamp. They've dropped the age of the midfield by 8 years. They've dropped the wage budget significantly. Let go of a number of injury prone players.

It's not an A – but its 100% a strong B. And can be seen already in the results.

I honestly think Liverpool are such a prospect this year to challenge on all fronts. I don't understand why most pundits are writing them off as just top4 challengers. They're still settling into this new midfield, but have won 2 games from 10men (hung in first game against Chelsea with no DM and tbh, getting 1pt from Stamford Bridge is a good result for anyone) and absolutely dominated Villa (and should have won the game by 6-7). Nunez seems to be finding his mojo(you can't deny his stats are insane), TAA is enjoying his footy again, Szoboz seems like a steal at 60m, Macca is such a capable all round midfielder. And if they can really pull off this box midfield, they'll outscore any team. The back line will be key to Liverpools season, but they'll certainly be up there at the end.

  4. Aston Villa's transfer window looks like the Spurs transfer window when they signed Ndombele, Lo Celso and Sessegon. Loads of promise but think they'll all be flops apart from Diaby long term. Pau Torres has been THE worst players of the season so far. Completely isn't made for a highline and the Prem and they've signed Lenglet as well who will be even worst! Zaniolo as well, a big name but that just won't cut it in the prem.

  5. These are the episodes Robbie Lyle can actually add something to the discussions. But as soon as the episode is about Arsenal vs X it's an instant L.
I think the Chelsea transfer window is a C at most, yes they offloaded alot of older players and replaced them with young talents. But they bought so many players and 80% of those players are labelled talents. But talents need play time, but they bought too many talents too give them all the playtime they need to develop. So for half of those talents they'll end up the same as Kurt Zouma, McEachran, Bertrand Traore, Dominic Solanke, Lucas Piazon, Lewis Baker, Charly Musonda, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Ethan Ampadu, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Abdul Rahman Baba and Tiemoué Bakayoko due to lack of playtime.

  6. People sleeping on Endo, he might've not been the most sought after player or the rising star but seems like a Klopp signing. Don't forget the fees paid for the players that have become best in the world in their positions under Klopp.

  7. me being a newcastle fan i think theyve got the newcastle rating wrong. going to the games and watching them play (well tonali play) barnes hasnt started in league for us came off bench and 3 times got 1 goal which is good. i think tonali performed well against villa but hasn't shown up in the other games. and spending 70mil on 2 fullbacks and none of them starting is very poor, yes i know trippier atm is irreplaceable but lewis hall etc. i think we lacked signing a centre half as we only have 1 rotational cb who i dont feel uncomfortable with on the team sheet (dan burn) lascelles isnt good enough for us anymore, harsh, but true. we have had lascelles since 2015/16 and he only performed in championship. i wouldve like to have seen the likes of antonio silva, young and spectacular. and on about the outgoings, we only got rid of players we wanted too on loan which in my opinion isnt good enough. selling maxi for 23million is ridiculous hes a 40million+ player with the market nowadays and i also think we sold him too soon. overall i rate our window a C

  8. How the fk can you put Sheffield united as E?,we made some good signings which can play football, because they don’t cost £50 million we can’t be higher, just proves championship is a better league competitively as more fairer on structure, only reason I like prem is because of the £170 million in the bank by being in it,so many pansys rolling around on floor caused by a gust of wind, championship is relentless end to end twice a week tournament which is more entertaining to me,my view on our window is a c,lost a few, gained a few players, decent window, just proves like Chelsea that you need to spend billions to keep up,what a joke, clubs like blades,Luton an to some extent Burnley burn our cloths accordingly, not fashionable just working class grit,UTB

  9. B FOR BRIGHTON???? LOL WHAT??? That was one of the most insane transfer windows I’ve seen. Can’t believe that was even suggested. I’m a Liverpool fan but their business was brilliant, the money they got for their players and the way the players they brought in. Nearly flawless.
