3. As an Arsenal fan I must say that Ramsdale made some amazing saves last season and is a good shot stopper. He saved them so many times the first season at Arsenal before Saliba had signed (when their defence were a lot worse). They have this wall of golden moments on the training ground at Arsenal, Ramsdale had 2 out of 5.
   The Raya signing is for more depth in quality. Ramsdale will be first and is a good shot stopper.

7. The absence of a £4.5m defender that can be used as a first XI option every week is a really big problem. Especially when you’re trying to fit Salah, Saka, Rashford and Nkunku (or an £8m forward) into your team.

   The £4.5m defenders are realistically only viable as a 12th man at the start of this season.

23. Will be interesting to see how much of a high line Villa play this season. Newcastle's experimental 3-4-2-1 side didn't play well against Villa in the friendly, but they did get chances from balls over the top.
