15. I just realised 11/15 of my players are likely to blank gw25. 3 United players, 3 Newcastle players, 2 Brighton players and 2 Brentford players.

18. I don't like a FH on a big BGW. If you can only choose players from a small amount of clubs, you will not get many top players which are usually responsible for big hauls. Hence I prefer to lose points in that particular GW to players with an average of 3-4 points. If I manage to get 6-7 playing players in my lineup – I will lose around 15 points.
    I rather use my FH either in a big DGW or a med blank and attack the top players.
    Would be interested to hear your thoughts!

19. Thanks Dan. Strategy 3 was and still is my current plan, as I fancied 29 would be the biggest DGW, and wildcarding earlier leaves more of the season left for it to pay off.

    But it's definitely not set in stone. I still need to figure it all out.

But u just reminded me how powerful the WC would be for later in the season b4 big DGWs. So thanks for helping me save my WC now lol. 34. Brilliant content Dan. I was strongly considering Rashford Triple Captain this week and I think this confirms it. I'll be aiming for Chip Strategy 1 but I might flip to strategy 3 at short notice if that DGW in 29 just has too many good fixture combos to miss.

35. I've already used my Free Hit. So my strategy is to try and build a team around Blank GW28 and then after I use my Wildcard to buid a squad for Double GW 29. My Bench Boost is set-up for Double GW 34. Triple Captain on GW22.

49. Lots of hard work went into this Dan. Well done. For most engaged managers, playing a wildcard anytime soon will feel awkward because most teams of said managers are maybe 1 or 2 players off what might be considered an ideal squad. Hence, I can see why keeping the wildcard until 32 to use as a tool for the BB in 34 is probably a good plan. Generally, there's the belief that the best use of a WC is usually to set a team up for 10 – 14 GWs. Having that World Cup break and the unlimited transfer really made the 2nd WC a luxury. It's really important to make the best use of it and I think strategy 1 is most optimal. Not sure yet what I'm going to do but going into the next 16 weeks with all chips intact is kinda exciting.
