Mental how you can have the Man Utd fellas tied for 3rd and say that there's no Liverpool players deserving to be in there when Man Utd and Liverpool have conceded the same amount of goals while Man Utd have a game in hand.
You definitely need other perspectives on this show from other clubs, especially Newcastle because even though stats tell a story, watching these players every week is entirely different.
Botman is immense, no doubting that, absolutely rolls Royce of a defender but Schar isn’t far off in terms of his performances. His composure and vision for a CB is ridiculous and the amount of last ditch tackles he makes is a joke. Very much justified and probably deserves a shout in the top 5 (THIS SEASON).
Stones only started 13/20 games in PL. That’s almost 50% of the games. Ake has also been better this season so how on earth did Stones get 1st place 😂
Ppl don’t rate Varane bc they don’t understand his game & they let 1 game against City years ago cloud their judgement.
He’s not the aggressor, never has been. He’s like T.Silva, VVD etc. in a sense that he doesn’t get dirty, he stays on his feet as much as possible & is more the calm & composed tidy CB

Stones & Romero are becoming overrated. Ake is City’s best season based off this season. Overall, Laporte & Dias are still City’s top 2 CB’s. And Romero is quite rash but looks better in that poor Spurs side.
Most underrated CB in the PL imo is Botman
