  1. Jota's injury is what you get when you are a great tackler, which he is. Unfortunately, he's asking for injury. Salah is over paid and over protected, no wonder he's limp.

  2. You're the deciding factor on whether or not you make your dreams a reality or not. It's not one big event that makes a life of greatness. It's those small decisions each and everyday that change everything. Make the right ones.

  3. These guys saying stopping Halaand from Scoring BASIC defending is absolutely ridiculous and saying Trent should not play is just stupid….this guy has won the UCL and Premier League playing the way he plays Trent is like Liverpool's De Bruyne in terms of Chance creation no wonder they ain't scoring more.

  4. Why did Pep leave Mahrez on the bench and instead move Cancelo up? I did not like that at all.

    – Also…why do they bring up Nunez when Salah had like 4 obvious goals that he decided not to pass on lol?

  5. No matter our form, no matter City's form This is Anfield. We own city in Anfield as always. Funny how all the pundits and fans were doubting and we still won the match keeping a clean sheet (let that sink in). We didn't allow Halaand to score, we shutted KDB. We missed around 4 sitters and still won it. Now its all about the consistency from us

  6. When milner was torn apart by foden everyone called for TAA. This defensive performance is caused majorly by a change of system. Trent has never been played this deep and asked to defend without going forward. It's easier to defend that way.

  7. Akanji managed to get tight to Jota all game but as soon as Nuñez came in, not even close. Nuñez just blew him off with pace and physicality. Yes his game is currently lacking, but he will improve under Klopp's tutelage.

  8. Nicols saying if Liverpool want to win they can’t play TAA at RB is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. Yes it’s been a slow start to the season, but he’s also the best RB in the world and has been key to Liverpool winning the league, league cup, champions league and coming second by a point twice as well as 3 champions league finals in 5 years. Absolutely shocking take.

  9. Trent may be having issues on his defensive game, but to be fair Elliott was very quick to drop back and help Milner 90+% of the time. Trent would look a lot better as a defender if he consistently got that kind of support. Furthermore, Gomez at RCB has good pace (rather that Matip, who has played alongside Trent a lot lately).

  10. Not sure why they are picking on Trent. Harvey Elliot had the best defensive display in a Liverpool shirt and that is why Milner was not exposed. Trent did not become bad overnight. He will be back in the next game. These pundits go from end of the pendulum to the other. They are like a leaf tossed in the wind. Keep commenting on a few mistakes of an individual rather than looking at overall team display.

  11. If Haaland is so great as they're all making him out to be, how is it that he could score against Liverpool, whose defense everyone was so critical of the last couple of weeks leading up to this encounter.

  12. City looked more & more dominant? Were we watching the same game? Yes they had a lot more of the ball, but Liverpool looked infinitely more dangerous with the ball & had much better chances. Such weird spins being put on this match.

  13. Think most on here vastly overrating this match. Not many shots on goal. The 2-2 last season a much better game. Better football played. Liverpool fans on here looking through rose tinted glasses. Not a full analysis. Only talked about Livépool. No comment on Pep changing City formation in a big matçh again. KDB playing out wide where he was not as influencial. Gundogan brought in and Grealish out. No comments on any of this. Typical bias.

  14. It’s funny to me that nobody mentioned that we didn’t have Henderson in the RCM which is what the real problem is even Gomez struggled at right back with Henderson in front of him

  15. Trent took not defending for granted and it had a knock on effect on everyone else. The reason gomez n VVD did well in defence its because milner was covering his own side and vvd and gomez can guard there own territory instead trying to cover trent
