  1. The accent makes no difference, the only person ridiculed has been Bradley and that’s because of the stupid things he said and his performance as manager.

  2. I am very worried about leeds right now. I think JM was given a job by american owners because he is america. Now they are talking about bringing in american players. I am afraid the owners want to market the club to the US turn it into an abomination with no soul. What alot of people dont get is how hard the prem is. think about it who was the last english manager to win the prem? if this direction fails they may just let the club run down to be sold to whoever they can.

  3. Total nonsense about accent. American players are treated fine. If he keeps Leeds up he will be loved. American owners seen as leeches as they buy only for business reasons.
I think Marsh will do ok but maybe need to come back up. "This" team is chaotic atm. Brentford also imploding. If Bamford and Philip (esp Philip) hit the ground running he has good chance to stay up.

  4. at least nobody has to be a masochist and watch steve bruce, benitez, allardyce, warnock football twice a season. moyes and jose teams are as bad as most football fan could humanly bear for 90 mins, we cant stoop any lower

  5. I'm from Leeds been a leeds fan an season ticket holder since I was 11 I'm 44 now , I love an always will love marcelo, tru fans in there hart wasn't happy bout stubbornness, I'm happy an fully support are new manager think he'll be good , smooth transition in style of play we'll be OK an stay up ,,MOT

  6. I think bielsas tactics will work better in french league or even spain… hope to see him again… jesse marsch on the other hand…. I wish him luck lol well see what he does with this talented leeds group

  7. I see this being a Newcastle United- Rafa Benitez-like arc. A case of too little too late, won’t keep them up unfortunately, but will obliterate the championship next season, bring them straight back up & create an identity that makes them premier league regulars in the future. I don’t think they’re staying up, Burnley will take advantage of the games in hand & Everton, as shocking as it would be to see them go down, will stay up by the grip of their teeth… Watford will produce the great escape on the final match day & relegate Brentford and Leeds as a result

  8. Ummm……… Not nice to compare him to the clueless buffoon Bradley, and Wagner is a German.

An interesting appointment, by far the best American manager, and someone who understands football rather than "soccer".

  9. I think what will ultimately keep Leeds in the Premier League is how bad the teams below them are. Not sure how JM will do as the new manager but surely the terrible form of those other teams will buy him some time. I’m excited to see what he can do.

  10. The American passport hurts players and managers in premier league? For managers the equation is simple, get results you get the respect. For players I wonder how it hurts them. Lots of Americans have done well in the prem many more haven't. Someone explain the point he was trying to make here?

  11. Probably the very reason Leeds appointed Marsch, is they wanted to lure Brandon Aaronson from RB Salzburg… ( if..Leeds doesn't get relegated)..
As a RB Leipzig fan, i wish Leeds Utd good luck ???
