Jordan Henderson wants to return to the Premier League this month but his Saudi club Al Ettifaq will not allow the England midfielder to leave cheaply.
Henderson made a high-profile move to Saudi Arabia in July to link up with former Liverpool team-mate Steven Gerrard, who had taken over as manager of Al Ettifaq a few weeks prior.
The 33-year-old cost Al Ettifaq in the region of £13m and they are reported to be paying him a weekly wage of around £350,000.
With Demarai Gray set for a move to Saudi Arabia from Everton, Simon Jordan and Danny Murphy have their say on how the player has tried to push his way out of the club.

Spurs and South Korea star Son Heung-min has dismissed reports of a possible move to Saudi Arabia, saying he wants to stay in the Premier League.
«Money is not the most important thing to me right now,» Son told reporters on Tuesday after South Korea drew 1-1 with El Salvador in an international friendly in Daejeon.
«I am not ready to go to that league,» he said when asked about reports of a lucrative attempt to lure him to play in Saudi Arabia, «I really like the Premier League and have more things to do in the league. So I will return and get prepared.”
ESPN had reported on Monday that the 30-year-old Son was being targeted by Saudi clubs, with Al Ittihad rumoured to be offering the forward a four-year deal worth €30 million ($32.7m) per season.
