Despite firing blanks in their opening two PL away fixtures, the ‘Gunners’ win at Burnley on their last trip made it nine wins out of their last 15 on their PL travels (D2, L4), behind only Liverpool (ten) and Manchester City (13). That run started with a 1-0 win at Brighton last December, completing a league double over the hosts last campaign having gone winless in five PL H2H fixtures prior (D2, L3).
Players to watch: Brighton’s Neal Maupay has scored the winning goal in two of his three Premier League appearances against Arsenal, whose captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has scored five goals in his last five domestic outings for Arsenal.
Hot stat: This is only the second time Arsenal will play Brighton in the top-flight while below them in the league standings, last doing so in January 1982.
