It’s sackable in itself that he allowed signings like Casemiro and Erikson when he knows he needs fast players to play his style of play. At least make sure you have the right player’s coming to play your system. He got lucky he had academy players ready to help out because of the disastrous signing he approved failing. Probably would have finish bottom half of the table if not for Garnacho and Mainoo

How many world class players does United have to engage in the midfield pressure when the ball is lost? And I mean players who are world class at exactly that job, none.
To get the players who beat M. City to act equally vs f.ex. Wolverhampton is not an easy task. It´s easy to set your team up vs one of the world´s best team but much harder to get same mentality vs lower ranked teams who will beat you if you don´t show up 100%.
