Only matters when it affects women. Men have just to endure their lifes. If not….they are seen as weak and this weakness will get used against them whenever possible for the rest of their life.

The football world the coaches the managers need to have a psychological program to support players mental heath. They almost treated like machines for their club. We all forget their humans with emotions.

Dude, he wouldn't be depressed if he were more lucky at tottenham after the world cup. He is a millionaire, this can't be possible.

I've always hated him cos am a red and he was always moaning and complaining on the pitch. But after seeing this it makes more sense to why he always seemed so miserable. I hope he's ok going forward 👍🏻

Massive respect to him but he forgets about the millions that allows him to get the proper professional help, if I felt however he felt I wouldn’t get anywhere near the help he would get. When you’re in a state of severe depression, you need more than just help, you need family and friends to support you, it can’t be done alone. I really hope he manages to find peace but for people like us that don’t have those luxuries, we need to create some support for ourselves.

People that somehow tries to downplay someone’s mental health issues and depression because “they have money” don’t know what they’re talking about.

It’s so easy to fall into that trap, “if I was a millionaire like him I’m sure all my problems would be gone, it would be impossible for me to get depressed”. However, it’s the most common thing for wealthy people to have serious mental health issues. And money can actually help to trigger or increase it!

With money, everything becomes easy, sometimes too easy that people don’t have any challenges or will to do anything anymore. Money can also isolate you as you don’t know who likes you because of yourself or your money, and that includes even your family and closest friends (one of the reasons Richarlison got so depressed was that he was betrayed by close friends because of money).

And when you get to this dark place mentally, mental doesn’t mean much except an easier way out as you will have access to more resources obviously.

“Grow up” and similar mindset like this, it’s very easy to say to someone, until it happens to you. Hopefully that never happens, but it won’t hurt being thoughtful of that and understanding.

This is a multi-millionaire in the prime of his life who only knows true suffering from movies and I'm supposed to feel sorry for him because he's having a bad day? Someone please give him a tissue

these football players earn millions of euros per month, they are so discreditable to me as they stand up and complain. average people who have to survive on a few thousand euros a month do not complain like this. very untrustworthy. if you can't be grateful in your heart every day that you can earn millions instead of a few thousand per year, then stop what you are doing and change. but do not lament. pity every athlete, actor and music performer who complains about how hard it is for them to have millions of euros in their bank accounts. pathetic and untrustworthy people.
