  1. It’s also because there was a really good player on most teams, so teams were more balanced. Now, Pep has all the insanely world class players, along with a few developing talents. The premier league isn’t harder, Man City is just a better team than the rest.

  2. The premier league is as much of a farmers league as Ligue 1 no where near as competitive as it’s made out to be if the Top team in the league needed 82 points to win it that suggests that they lost a lot more games because more teams were able to put up a fight against this
When Man city win the league they will have gone 26 game’s unbeaten in the league how is that competitive?

  3. “And the 3rd during covid”
    😂😂😂😂
31st March, 25 points behind Liverpool who needed 2 wins to clinch it from 9 games left.

Didn’t city win / league year later and play 37 games with no fans?
    That not covid no?
    Make it make sense 😂

  4. Absolute nonsense about pep not winning during covid. He was competiting with the best Liverpool side of all time, who were also one of the best English sides of all time and was 25 points behind when covid hit. So disingenous to even make that statement and usually you guys are so on point and fair.

  5. Nah it’s not Guardiolas fault it’s their uae owners buying the league trophy and incurring 115 violations to spite the honesty of the premier league. This is the real reason Klopp has left.

  6. “lost to one of the best real madrid sides” 😂 as if pep was coaching what sum call the greatest team ever aka “prime barca” u then go on to say his first szn didnt rly count. ok but his team was still very good. n the last 1 saying it was a covid szn is crazy. liverpool were like 25 point clear at the top n on the incredible form b4 covid started

  7. You've completely misunderstood this stat. The fact winning teams are doing so with more points now compared to in the past indicates winning the league is easier than it was. Less competition throughout the league. Go back to school…

  8. This is basically coincidence. The number of points needed bave been on the rise as the gap between the top teams and the bottom team increases. That's all.

  9. This is pretty poor analysis. The lower the point total, the more difficult the league is for any team trying to win. Your analysis of more points = more difficult league would make Ligue 1 the most competitively challenging league.

  10. Pep will leave and man city will still be unstoppable, its all down to money. There's a reason Man City, Real Madrid, and PSG have dominated in recent years, Money a

  11. Only 3 times out of 14 times he has not won the league says too much . Other managers would be really happy with even having 3 wins out 14
