Do this for assists aswell and goal involvements aka goals+assists

I actually thought Chicharito would be number 1 or 2

Poor defenders Mids and Keepers. You're basically the supporting cast to the goal scorers when best sub is defined by number of goals when mid could've easily been brought in to the convo by number of assists. Defensive contributions are hard to quantify and Keepers rarely get subbed but still.

Maybe used another metric another time, such as point won (with assist or goals)

Pfffft, Nils Petersen holds the Bundesliga record of 34 goals from the bench between 2011 and 2023 (which is funny as he has also been one of the best players and even the overall record goal scorer in the history of SC Freiburg with 105 goals, but he was often brought on as a sub for tactical reasons).
Second place in Germany is Claudio Pizarro with 21 goals.

Chicharito wanted to score but also wanted to get an assist on his debut so he did it for himself, passing the ball to give himself a headed goal in the community shield
