  1. Alright enough with the sh** about them having oil money or breaking 115 FFP charges,
sure theres no excuse to break A HUNDRED AND FIFTEEN but pep used his money very properly, i mean chelsea spent 1 billion and were shiet so that's enough saif

  2. It’s also because man city usually go through vigorous changes each season and it takes time to adapt for new players as well as existing players adapting to the changing landscape. I mean just look at all the world class players that have come and gone in the past 5 years. Plus man city’s playing style is so intense that after an off season it takes a little while sometimes to get fully up to speed. It’s the same case with Liverpool who also are prone to poor starts and strong finishes. Also noted by someone else, the number one reason comes down to the stability of the manager. Even Ferguson went through real rough patches in the season yet managed to finish on top several times

  3. That's the big issue with football today.
It's not super interesting to see a team dominate when they just have a much bigger budget and more better players than their opponents (City, PSG, real, Bayern..)

Especially when city doesn't earn their money, it's just given by oil monzy

  4. Why do so many fans miss this importance? Obviously we want to win every game but if you average 90% across a whole season (and lose or draw a couple of close games) compared to average 97% 1st half and 65% 2nd half when everyone else is burnt ou or injured, youre obviously going to do better. And how did Arteta not pick this up working for him with one of the biggest drop offs of a big team?

  5. managers usually go one of 2 ways in preseason, go hard, get in shape and get out blocks fast, pile up points and you will run out steam in second half but just try to hang on. Another is go easy in preseason, you might get off blocks slow but you will build up strength as season goes on and usually have more energy in second half. Mourhinho was a proponent of the first and most managers have followed that blueprint.
