  1. These are ex-pro players and pundits and yet they did 4-4-2 😂😂. It's simple – Schmeichel GK, Cole LB, Terry Ferdinand CB, Kyle Walker RB, Gerrard, Viera, Lampard CM's, Henry LW, Shearer CF, Ronaldo RW…Manager Pepe😊 Assistant Arteta

  2. People forget that Scholes was a ten or an attacking midfielder before he dropped deep and when playing those roles scored more then Lampard. Him and Gerrard could both easily of played Lampards role with more success but they were to good at all round play

  3. People seem to have forgot about Giggs from the age of 17 to 26 and if he was English he would probably be classed as greatest ever English player, people just need to watch his early years, later on he became a clever consistent player

  4. central mid – they righty looked at is as a partnership. the one they picked had been proven not to work and most there are theoretical. so why not go with the tried and tested over many years – scholes/keane

  5. ashley cole ffs ya bells
    denis irwin
    7 titles 1 european cup 1 treble
    43 career goals
    left foot right foot
world class left back world class right back.
as a left back with 2 feet see,s 100 per cent of the picture.won a hat trick of titles 99/2000/2001. only alan kennedey and patrice evra have won a hatrick of titles.

    ashley cole 1 title
    no european cup
    21 career goals
put ashley righ back be lost
wit only a left foot ,he can only see 50 per cent of the picture
    goin foward miles vbehind iriwin
irwin wipes out cole on all counts,
wrighy is spot on the other 3 are wafflin shite

  6. A few players playing out of position but do sometimes play there because they're versatile. The team with many PL title's between which I'll put the number next to their name.

    Schmeichel (5)
    Irwin (7)
    G.Neville (8)
    Ferdinand (6)
    Evra (5)
    Beckham (6)
    Scholes (11)
    Keane (7)
    P.Neville (6)
    Giggs (13)
    Rooney (5)

    Only 79 PL's beteen them 😂
    Pete
    G.Nev Rio Evra

    Irwin P.Nev
    Keane
    Becks Scholes

    Giggs
    Rooney

(Went for Irwin & P.Nev to be the wingbacks as they're both footed which helps even more on the wings).
Actually I may as well put Vidic in instead of Evra as I've decided to not make Evra a wingback and Vidic has name number of PL's maybe not overall league titles but PL's same).

  7. So one minute they're talking about PremierLeague longevity being important then they pick Cristiano instead of Beckham? Beckham was a better Premier league player than Cristiano and won double the amount of PL title's and more FAcup's and no less ChampionsLeague's but had better ChampionsLeague campaigns than some of Cristiano's bad one's.
They picked Giggs for longevity but it would've made more sense having Beckham on the right, Cristiano on the left instead of Giggs or just Giggs & Beckham. Beckham never had a poor PL season, Cristiano had a few.
You're always leaving out great players with these (clearly, they left out Scholes, Irwin etc…)but they should've just made it a rule that if you have memorably bad individual seasons which cost the team and spent less than 10 years in the PL you don't get into the team. Plus Cristiano was never a winger if he goes in it's as a striker or nothing else. Doesn't track back, rarely crosses the ball, only takes freekicks to shoot even in crossing positions=Not a winger. Just look at a lot of the positions in the pitch Beckham would score from, they're more wingers positions, Cristiano scored many tap ins like he was a striker. Wingers job is to give those to the striker.

  8. the striler roles are a nightmare to pick…….Shearer needs to be in there but so does Henry and of course drogba! And Fowler and Aguerro…………and Ian Wright is very modest cause he was an incredible striker too. I think I'd have Shearer and Drogba tho. Drogba was a 1 man frontline all by himeself with pace, power, menace, strength……..just unbelievable.

  9. Amazing team BUT if it were a real team, you’d have to have a bit more defensive nous in midfield. I’d have to swap Lampard for a Keane/Vieira/Kante player. Splitting hairs though – Lampard, Kompany, Stam, Vidic, Irwin, Bale, Scholes, Suarez and Aguero would all fit in too.

  10. For the children of the future's gaze,

Imagine a player, in prime's sweet haze,

The speed of Kylian, a lightning's dart,

Strength of Haaland, a lion's heart.

Presence of mind, a genius's grace,

Dribbling like Vinícius, in open space,

All these gifts in one man we'd see,

Prime Thierry Henry, in his majesty.

  11. As an 18 year old kid growing up watching the 90's legends and being privileged to witness Italia 90…its basically watching world class players playing as individuals and not as a team…😑

  12. How can you not pick a midfield partnership of Roy Keane and Paul Scholes !? This isn't about who was your favourite player, it's who are the candidates who have the talent at that position backed up with the titles … RK and PS are a proven duo with 18 PL medals between them and 2 out of the best 5 central midfielders ever to play in the Premiership who have made it work year in year out.

  13. 11mins in and thinking Ian Wright is a Man United fan
15mins in and thinking they all are..
20mins in and BLOODY HELL WRIGHTY!! Lineker LITERALLY has to force Bergkamp in, and then goes on to say Sheringham and Fowler?!
