    Would I listen to Lineker

  3. Avatar de Ndogg85

Makes me laugh that everyone is obsessed with stats, and yet everyone chucks Gerrard straight into an pl all time 11 without winning it 😂.

  4. Avatar de jericho

Wow, jaap stam not notiminated. And keane and viera better than any of those mds

  5. Avatar de Rapon de don

These are ex-pro players and pundits and yet they did 4-4-2 😂😂. It's simple – Schmeichel GK, Cole LB, Terry Ferdinand CB, Kyle Walker RB, Gerrard, Viera, Lampard CM's, Henry LW, Shearer CF, Ronaldo RW…Manager Pepe😊 Assistant Arteta

  6. Avatar de Rapon de don

    Kyle Walker now for RB.

People forget that Scholes was a ten or an attacking midfielder before he dropped deep and when playing those roles scored more then Lampard. Him and Gerrard could both easily of played Lampards role with more success but they were to good at all round play

  8. Avatar de Don da mon

People seem to have forgot about Giggs from the age of 17 to 26 and if he was English he would probably be classed as greatest ever English player, people just need to watch his early years, later on he became a clever consistent player

  9. Avatar de chowinkle

You could pick a Man Utd XI and they’d be close to an all time EPL XI

  10. Avatar de Kabwe Mwamba

For me ngolo kante gets in this squad

  11. Avatar de Robert Crosbie

If Gary lineker and Duncan Ferguson did a crisp ad assault on lineker just a thought

  12. Avatar de Lee Smith

central mid – they righty looked at is as a partnership. the one they picked had been proven not to work and most there are theoretical. so why not go with the tried and tested over many years – scholes/keane

  13. Avatar de Ben Wright

Petition for another one in 2023/24

lets sit and try to make the best english premier league team possible, more suitable title

  19. Avatar de gavin mc eneff

    Four englishmen pick a mainly

  20. Avatar de Gary Carroll

Need to pick two teams, so they can play against each other. There's so many good players.

  21. Avatar de Chris

Gerrard & Lampard in a 442 … yeah because that really worked for England right…

  22. Avatar de João Calhão

Why is Dennis Murphy even among those and allowed to talk?

  23. Avatar de TubesYouName

A few players playing out of position but do sometimes play there because they're versatile. The team with many PL title's between which I'll put the number next to their name.

    Schmeichel (5)
    Irwin (7)
    G.Neville (8)
    Ferdinand (6)
    Evra (5)
    Beckham (6)
    Scholes (11)
    Keane (7)
    P.Neville (6)
    Giggs (13)
    Rooney (5)

    Only 79 PL's beteen them 😂
    Pete
    G.Nev Rio Evra

    Irwin P.Nev
    Keane
    Becks Scholes

    Giggs
    Rooney

(Went for Irwin & P.Nev to be the wingbacks as they're both footed which helps even more on the wings).
Actually I may as well put Vidic in instead of Evra as I've decided to not make Evra a wingback and Vidic has name number of PL's maybe not overall league titles but PL's same).

So one minute they're talking about PremierLeague longevity being important then they pick Cristiano instead of Beckham? Beckham was a better Premier league player than Cristiano and won double the amount of PL title's and more FAcup's and no less ChampionsLeague's but had better ChampionsLeague campaigns than some of Cristiano's bad one's.
They picked Giggs for longevity but it would've made more sense having Beckham on the right, Cristiano on the left instead of Giggs or just Giggs & Beckham. Beckham never had a poor PL season, Cristiano had a few.
You're always leaving out great players with these (clearly, they left out Scholes, Irwin etc…)but they should've just made it a rule that if you have memorably bad individual seasons which cost the team and spent less than 10 years in the PL you don't get into the team. Plus Cristiano was never a winger if he goes in it's as a striker or nothing else. Doesn't track back, rarely crosses the ball, only takes freekicks to shoot even in crossing positions=Not a winger. Just look at a lot of the positions in the pitch Beckham would score from, they're more wingers positions, Cristiano scored many tap ins like he was a striker. Wingers job is to give those to the striker.

the striler roles are a nightmare to pick…….Shearer needs to be in there but so does Henry and of course drogba! And Fowler and Aguerro…………and Ian Wright is very modest cause he was an incredible striker too. I think I'd have Shearer and Drogba tho. Drogba was a 1 man frontline all by himeself with pace, power, menace, strength……..just unbelievable.

gerrard and lampard but no roy keane ? what a joke, keep telling us english bias isn't a thing

  27. Avatar de jon minson

Pretty sure Gerrard and lampard would work in the middle when you've got Giggs and Ronaldo outside them

  28. Avatar de Mark Ellis

Amazing team BUT if it were a real team, you’d have to have a bit more defensive nous in midfield. I’d have to swap Lampard for a Keane/Vieira/Kante player. Splitting hairs though – Lampard, Kompany, Stam, Vidic, Irwin, Bale, Scholes, Suarez and Aguero would all fit in too.

For the children of the future's gaze,

Imagine a player, in prime's sweet haze,

The speed of Kylian, a lightning's dart,

Strength of Haaland, a lion's heart.

Presence of mind, a genius's grace,

Dribbling like Vinícius, in open space,

All these gifts in one man we'd see,

Prime Thierry Henry, in his majesty.

Gotta have ol' square head in. Love Ian Wright

As an 18 year old kid growing up watching the 90's legends and being privileged to witness Italia 90…its basically watching world class players playing as individuals and not as a team…😑

  32. Avatar de Urban Rider

Does ,Xavier, messi,Ronaldo, zidane talk about lampard and gerrard like they do about paul scholes

  33. Avatar de terry boland

    Lineker is such a nob.

  34. Avatar de Justin McQuaide

Shows there bias when they left Roy Keane out and put lampard in plus he's English 😅

  35. Avatar de 천하코털

    442
    Henry Shearer
    Giggs Lampard Gerrard Ronaldo
    A.Cole J.Terry Ferdinand Neville
    Schmeichel

By Gary, Ian Wright, Alan Shearer, Danny Murphy

  36. Avatar de scoopmaster420

Looking at this in 2023, Kyle Walker is probably the best premier league right back by far

  37. Avatar de Just_Walk

Scholes is the best midfielder in premier League history, all the great players say it even pep…. Crazy he is left out of this team

  38. Avatar de Kardinal Careoke (Kyle XY)

Wrighty is an absolute traitor for this for Arsenal!

  39. Avatar de Mubeen Abdullah

How can you not pick a midfield partnership of Roy Keane and Paul Scholes !? This isn't about who was your favourite player, it's who are the candidates who have the talent at that position backed up with the titles … RK and PS are a proven duo with 18 PL medals between them and 2 out of the best 5 central midfielders ever to play in the Premiership who have made it work year in year out.

  40. Avatar de Ewok

There was not a single season in his entire career Gary Neville was the best right back in the league

  41. Avatar de David Fox

11mins in and thinking Ian Wright is a Man United fan
15mins in and thinking they all are..
20mins in and BLOODY HELL WRIGHTY!! Lineker LITERALLY has to force Bergkamp in, and then goes on to say Sheringham and Fowler?!

  42. Avatar de Andy McCardle Official

Mark Schwartzer shouldve been on the keepers list. Not a winner but atleast on the list.

  43. Avatar de Gary Reilly

The players picking the midfield shows why England are the perennial losers in international football since 66. "Let's pick the two guys that failed as a team "😂

  44. Avatar de somebody

As a Turkish football fan i would say Alan Shearer wasn't only premier league best striker he is the greatest European striker ever.
