    Very memorable season.

Despite Arsenal leading the way for 93% of the season (and breaking their own record for highest portion of the season spent at the top by a team who failed to win the title!) Manchester City ultimately won their fifth league title in six seasons after Arsenal faltered late on. The pressure of being in control of the title race seemed to ultimately be too much for Arsenal to handle, which is likely the primary reason that caused them to bottle the title; however it was still nonetheless their best season in years so they still had much to be proud of. The season is also notable for Manchester City becoming the second English club to win the continental treble, which included their first Champions League win, so overall a very successful season for the club, technically their most successful season ever despite not being their most dominant march to the title.

Manchester United did have a much better season than their previous season (which could be seen as a shocker of a campaign) with scintillating winter form ultimately getting them a top four finish and winning them a trophy (Carabao Cup). A humiliating 7-0 defeat to their rivals at Anfield may dampen its legacy a little, but it doesn't change the fact they ultimately still had a better season overall than Liverpool nonetheless. Liverpool had a relatively poor season by their standards, missing out on top four, though they did have a much better final two months, with poor winter form and some poor away displays letting them down and costing them top four.

Chelsea had an absolute shocker of a season despite spending record breaking amounts under new ownership following the departure of Roman Abramovich after 19 years and acquisition by Los Angeles Dodgers owner Todd Boehly. Lost more than they won and finished outside the top half in an absolutely shambolic season which started off inconsistently, began to look bad shortly before the World Cup break, and then only got worse after the season resumed despite the majority expecting them to somewhat improve when the season resumed. Tottenham also had a fairly bad season (though perhaps to a lesser extent as they still finished in the top half) but still finished a disappointing 8th and failed to qualify for Europe, their low point being a 21 minute demolition at St James' Park.

Outside the Big Six, Newcastle were scintillating and qualified for the Champions League after a 20 year absence, whilst Brighton and Aston Villa also had impressive seasons and got European qualification. Brentford and Fulham weren't too bad either, whilst West Ham won a European trophy.

Jesus, I mean everything about European football is better than the MLS. But the crowd in all these games is just incredible. They add SO much excitement and enthusiasm to the match. Of course along with the far superior commentators too.

that 2-1 victory United got over us(City) is the objective biggest robbery this season. Rashford was offsides when the ball was played, and then proceeds to interfere w/ Akanji's ability to play the ball(aka make a tackle on Bruno before he strikes the ball) and they scored the equilizer. Game would've been totally different if the refs actually knew wtf they were doing that game, absolutely ridiculous decision but thankfully it didnt affect the outcome of our three-peat

What Manchester City did to arsenal home/away is straight up abuse 🤣
