This is why Goldbridge is the best football pundit, commentator, whatever you wanna call him. No bias, just facts. And he actually watches football so understands that teams are good. Either Potter has chosen players to spend the biggest transfer budget on… in which case surely he should be expected to get better results with a team he's hand picked. Or (which I expect) The players have been chosen strategically from those seperate from him, and he can be replaced with another coach who's job it is to get the best of the expensive group of players.

I'm not making excuses but its easy to forget how young some of these Arsenal players are. Nobody was expecting what they've produced so far. If there's one thing that comes with playing younger players its inconsistency. Maybe that's what we are staring to see now. Im proud of them so far though and hopefully they can pull through. Either way Arsenal look good for the future.

If united were in Chelsea’s position, Goldbridge would be 100% potter out. In no circumstances, 2 wins out of 13 is good enough. I don’t care if we spent 1 billion; with the players we had, we should be well above 10th place.

2) An accumulation of penalties dismissed against Southampton away
3) Two clear penalties against Newcastle ignored

I'm an Arsenal fan and this feeling is all too familiar, more on the earlier years of the Emirates being top or least gunning for it at the half way point and then bottling it ending up 4th. This blip to City, Everton and Brentford feels like the beginning of a downfall as it's just a familiar feeling. Who knows though
