4 Reasons Why Erling Haaland Could Flop In The Premier League

So, in a huge way, it means that the entire continent is looking to Haaland, a 21-year-old, to bring home the Champions League for Manchester City. That right there is the type of pressure that cripples even 30-year-olds. We will only have to wait and see if Haaland has the mental capability to withstand all that and still soar.

1. Bundesliga tax
2. Differences in playing styles
3. Burden of expectations
4. The physicality of the Premier League

Why does almost every video uploaded with Haaland say «Haaland to flop»? Why not «why Haaland will succeed»? Have Haaland showed any signs of being a potential flop?

Whats typical for a flop is that they settle with just being bought by one of the best teams, they are happy sitting on the bench and cash money, they cant adapt to the climate, language or the new team/league, they wont work hard to constantly be better. All these things are the opposite of what Haaland is.

Haaland wont settle, he plays football because he loves it, he lives and breaths as a professional footballer (from what he eats to how he trains). Fex, he use yoga to calm down and relax after games, takes ice baths (which is one of the tricks he uses as a key to improving performance even a few percent upwards). He uses special glasses and infrared light to sleep better. He has an extreme mentality. He doesnt leave anything to chance in the pursuit of being the best. He works hard to improve every day and he is never satisfied with how he performs, its always something to improve. If he scores 3, he is irritated at himself for not scoring 4 etc. He is a beast physically, but at the same time he is quicker than most. He is used to the weather in England, he speaks the language aso.

Does this sound like a potential flop? I dont understand why some (especially english «experts») talk so negative about him, while they hype up fex South-American players….

The only one who will make him a flop is the so called «experts» out there who expect him to score 2-3 goals almost every game and 30-40 goals his first season. He is 21 years old. I always see these same expert say about other young players «he should be given time bla bla». Its insane how much people expect from Haaland from the get go…and people seem to forget his age. He has scored 153 goals in his professional career allready.

there is high chance for haaland to be stronger than the flop , because city is the number one club in the primer league that open to much space for forwarders

So much wrongs in this video, Halaad has been prolific in all competitions he played be it UCL or international level. Pointing out most players from Bundesliga flops in the PL is not a case for city as all Bundesliga signings to city excelled from Gundo, Sane, KDB name them…

I'm a City fan and i can tell you halaad will be a cheat code in city. We converted only 50% or below of big chances created 2021/22 and still outscored all team in england. With the likes of Raz, Jesus and Foden wasting most. How much more a foward who is know for being clinical in the box as Halaad. 20 PL goals will be an under achievement to his name if he's not injured.

Fuck me sterling the tap in specialist scores goals and he can't finish. So this guy will score bundles. Kevin db will assist him plenty.

People think that haaland is not a skiller because of his height etc.
He is not the best skiller but give him a ball on his feet and he will keep the bal there against the best defenders in the world. Haaland is a monster

This dude is built up like a supped up superhero at 21 ..nuts he’s only going to get more stronger more powerful as he develops so good luck to all should be a amazing to watch

Haaland don’t care he strives if he wants to strive

As a Dortmund Fan I have to say that I've also noticed loads of confidence and balance problems which cause him to miss the goal from short range. Happened very often.

Hes a youngster less experienced and hasnt had that much burdon but because of his 9billion iq he can tear the prem

  14. Avatar de Luthfi Nicola Sereni

At least City does not give too many power to Halland like how PSG do to Mbappe.

Players can always be a flop
Mostly because of injuries, if he can avoid injuries and keep playing, he can perform

As soon as I heard BL Tax I stopped watching, Nonsense!!!

  16. Avatar de Hammerhead56

I don’t think he will flop, the bundesliga is better than Ligue 1 and Haaland is strong and will be able to beat even the strongest of defenders in the prem.

The reality is if anyone flopped in the prem that is a star it would be mbappe.

Just like the reason Messi never played in the best league in the world. He could never handle players like Dias, Van Dijk and Matip… let’s not forget Maguire

Waiting for the day on which Haaland shuts this guy's mouth up.

  18. Avatar de CageBunny

I would say the german league is much better than the french league.. so Mbappe ?

It's unfinished business at Old Trafford time… C'Mon City ????

  23. Avatar de Stradivarius

Dumb videos, it completely ignores the fact how incredibly he performed in the Champions League, which is still far superior to the overrated Premier League…. yes, overrated, since only 3 or 4 teams are actually European top level.

How can he become a flop if he hasn’t even played a single match nor trained with the man city squad

  31. Avatar de Mr. 93:20

Can’t wait to see how this age. I don’t understand how people think the Prem is so hard when there two teams with 90+ points. Clear indication the other 18 teams are severely behind.

  33. Avatar de MOhamed Maiza

I think a more stable coaching environment, Pep doesn't seem to be leaving, will help him have a better transition then what most other clubs could provide
