I'm not gonna lie I was really impressed with the way Brentford played in the first half, so much so that I was tempted to claim that we didn't even deserve the 3 points despite the improved second half performance. However, after hearing what Thomas Frank had to say I am now happy Brentford lost. Honestly that interview was one of the most arrogant ones I ever heard, the man was so bitter ???. "We absolutely destroyed them in the first half" I mean good lord LOL the salt is endless. Frank needs to understand he manages Brentford and not Man City, Brentford do not have the players to punish the big clubs simple as. Yes, Brentford were superb in the first half and should've been ahead, but the didn't take their chances period. We took ours when they fell to us and that is why we came away with the 3 points. De Gea was class yesterday, sometimes you just gotta hold your hands up and say you were not clinical and it cost you. That's football, the big clubs have players who will punish you if you don't take your chances and our players did exactly that in the second half. Thomas Frank should've been proud about how well his team performed in the first half, but instead he decided to throw his toys out the pram and just spend the whole interview complaining and whining about how lucky we were. I honestly used to really like Frank as a manager, but after hearing that interview I now see him as a sad, bitter loser with 0 sense of humility. Thomas Frank hold your head in shame.
