Good to look back on.
Carlo Ancelotti was some manager. His time at the Bridge orodhced the most exiting Chelsea team ?I’ve seen in the 49nyears of supporting them. The season where we got 3 x 8-0, 5 x 7-0 and 5 x 6-0.
Scored the most amount of goals ever in a season, kept most clean sheets, Beat Wigan 8 – 0 on the last game of the season, then on the first day of the next season, we beat them 8 – 0 again. 16 -0 aggregate in 2 games.
We were formidable this year. I would love Carlo to come back someday, if Frank want with us, I’d want Carlo over any other manager hands down.

I mean hd did ex’s the same with Bayern Munich too – soon as he went there, Bayern started a full on, all out attack. With a thin midfield bug have defenders that would act as midfields – so he kept crazy amounts of clean sheets, something normally unheard of in a team who has been built entire around 1 forward and 2 defenders- with even the guys out left and right defence had permission to hike forward when they wanted. Ashley Cole RAB from beside his own corner flag the full length of the pitch and scored.
Good times. And his first season saw us do the triple double, beating the other teams in the top 4, both home and away. Namely Utd, Arsenal, & Liverpool – getting 3 and 3, 4 and 3 + 3 and 3 goals past each respectively.
