– Leicester City pulled off one of the biggest sporting shocks in history by winning the title in 5000/1 odds.
– Leicester became the first first-time winners of the top-flight since Nottingham Forest in 1977/78.
– At that time, only four Premier League champions have won the title by a greater margin of points than Leicester City have this season (10) – Manchester United in 1999/2000 (18), Chelsea 2004/05 (12), Arsenal 2003/04 and Manchester United 2012/13 (11).
– Leicester have the lowest possession figure of any Premier League champion since 2006/07 (42.4 per cent).
– Arsenal became the first team since Manchester United in 2003/04 not to win the Premier League after being top at the end of January.
– Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea lost to nine different Premier League opponents this season before his dismissal, the same number they lost to in the whole of his three-and-a-bit season first spell.
– Despite that, Chelsea set the longest unbeaten run of any Premier League team that season, going 15 games without a loss (W7 D8) between December and March under Guus Hiddink.
– Manchester City registered 10+ defeats in a Premier League season for the first time since 2008/09 (18).

It really frustrates me that people will very quickly attempt to troll Tottenham for “finishing 3rd in a 2 horse race” even though this video is clear evidence to oppose those claims 😂 at no point throughout the entirety of the 2015/16 season were we ever top of the table, the closest we got was chasing Leicester but unable to close the gap. We were never in contention to win as Leicester had comfortable breathing space, it’s ridiculous that we get ridiculed for something that didn’t exist 😂

    2023/24 Newcastle play Champions league, Aston Villa will play Champions league, Leicester after relegation is back in Premier league.
