Premier League Highlights | Crystal Palace 1-2 Liverpool

The cruelest of circumstances combined to see ten-man Palace on the wrong end of a late Liverpool comeback, suffering a 2-1 defeat at Selhurst Park.

Yet again, defending for their goals was woefully poor, and at the other end we miss absolute sitters, Lerma's shot from 6 yards out straight at the keeper and same with Andersons header. So poor in both boxes doesn't lead to wins in this division.

If they went back 3 minutes after the game to give a soft pen to palace, how was this not done against spurs????

liverpool struggled against a team they've had success over in past match ups. only when Ayew got sent off did Liverpool get a look in. even then, at the end, palace nearly levelled the score. the substitutions were good but the team, despite beating Sheffield just across the road, looked a bit lacklustre

look how inconsistent the ref is. Endo gets fouled doesnt see it as a foul, seconds after van Dijk does exactly what was done to Endo, he blows. Nobody is talking about that

Always a pleasure to see Mr. Roy Hodgson at the end of the game. Wishing him great health and managing for another 10 years.

So where has that effort been in previous matches? The fans light a fire under the club's arse then all of a sudden they play for the shirt!
The manner in which we approached this game should be how we approach every game… This is the Premier League.

Ayew silly challenge cost you the game unfortunately

Still wondering what Ayew's second yellow was for.
    Shocking reffing
Palace should have had 2 more pens.

Very needless and useless second yellow!

Just wanted to come here as a Liverpool fan to say you deserved better. Those rough cards broke your amazing resilience. Well played.

So play was stopped for a VAR check and PMGOL said in Liverpool v spurs that they couldn’t stop play for a VAR CHECK. Pathetic!!

that game should not have been stopped for a pen especially how the game was already restarted with a free kick especially when you look back at the spurs, Liverpool game when VAR realised their mistake turned rond and saif we can't stop the game now as they restarted it with a spurs free kick, so when did this rule suddenly vhange

I for one, am thankful of what Roy achieved last season etc, but his comments after the Bournemouth match was not acceptable, regarding the supporters “being spoilt” & the team “fighting above their weight.” This is not the talk you want from a manager who main purpose is to inspire his team to victory. Roy’s time in football management seems to to have run its course. It’s time to thank Roy and relief him of his duties, otherwise Palace will find themselves in a relegation scrap sooner rather than later. Bournemouth, A. Villa, Everton, are not full of stars, but full of determination & grit. Roy has basically said, Palace are pretenders, small fish surviving in a big pool. This is relegation language. If Palace go down this season, the road will be very long to returning to the Premiership. Long hard meditation & decision making needs to be made before the end of January, for the sake of Palace’ survival 🤔

Anyone know why Liverpool thought it was a good idea to let the cat design that strip?
