And this year is Liv vs Tot
The whole FA of England is rigged u cxnts against Liverpool
Ok
😊
mf changed the history of bournemouth
As a Villa fan, I've never felt too bad about this. Earlier in the season, in the dying seconds of a game against Crystal Palace with Villa losing 1-0, Jack Grealish charged forward through several Palace players. Getting a nudge in the back from Zaha, he took the contact from Cahill ahead of him and slid a perfectly-timed ball to Henri Lansbury who lashed it into the net for an equaliser. Except Kevin Friend, expecting Grealish by reputation to be diving, had already blown for simulation and booked Grealish in one of the worst refereeing decisions I've ever seen (why would you play the pass and get straight back up if you're fishing for a foul? a foul was clearly worse than the goal scored for Villa), and the game ended 0-1 despite Villa having had a completely legitimate goal ruled out.
Things have a way of balancing themselves out, and Villa were both blatantly gifted an undeserved point during this season, and blatantly robbed of a deserved one.
The real imbalance was that a point owing to Sheffield United was denied and two were given to Crystal Palace who didn't deserve it; as I recall both finished comfortably mid-table, so the balance of these two awful decisions was neutral.
This aged like milk considered last Liverpool- Spurs game.
VAR playing fortnite while Liverpool needed to win that game
AMEN! Be thankful that GOD woke you up today! Let's keep this family friendly please! GOD DOES! Pray for everyone! None of us are worthy! But remember, GOD hates the sin, not the sinner! AMEN! 🙏🏾✝️
Players blocking the goal line technology cameras resulted Aston Villa to be in the Conference league
Of course it’s this referee. The same that denied a penalty in brazils favor in the 2022 wc against croatia. A game we lost in the end. This guy has to be fired by fifa. A shame to football
well guess what, spurs vs liverpool did it again
It finished nil nil not one all
Aston Villa – Dont get relegated, improve their team, sellg realish for 100m, get europe in 3 years
Bournemouth – get relegated, lose Howe
Newcastle – Recruit free agent Howe, rebuilds team in year and half, gets Champions League
Sheffield Utd – Kinda bottle europe and get relegated a year later due to poor form carried over by this game
damn
It was 0-0 but yeah
And look at Villa today
While I don't like the outcome. I don't feel aggrieved that the ref didn't go to the screen. Goal Line Tech had been pretty much faultless up to that point.
VAR wasn't supposed to be used for goal line decisions. HENCE Goal Line tech…
Would the guy in Stockley Park have any reason whatsoever to doubt the automated technology? I would think not..
As a Bournemouth fan this was brutal, but we should've fought harder to stay up regardless.
it was an absolute joke we wouldve got europe
Repent of your sins and be baptized …And remember the sabbath which is Saturday 😊and keep it Holy it is the 4th commandment in Exodus 20:8-11
Or because it was the premier League and referees hate Sheffield United.
I mean that kept us up and history repeats itself
actually it was because his watch ran out of battery
the game actully fiinished 0-0 lol
Man city would have had diaby if it wasn't for this
What a journey for Villa from Survival from a ghost goal to Conference league
Love it how people still cry over this today 😂 UTV
Still think they just forgot to turn the goal line technology back on after lockdown
Sheff u being robbed? That’s a new one 🙄
This animation style reminds me of the armchair historian.
I swear the reason given was that they forgot to turn the goal line technology on?
Tbf first game back after covid and rustiness that comes with that probably was a factor as well
Back when Sheffield United was better than Newcastle
What happened here? Did the tech go wrong?
Olly Norwood ofc smashing in the free kick, what a legend
take. the statues. down. now.
87 points this GW. Double of Son and Maddison paid off and I did Chillwell to Botman for a -4…worth it
Didn’t something similar happen to West Ham which is why they stayed up?
Of couse it was Michael Oliver.
What about gd
This made Bournemouth sell Ake to man city where he made a goal-line clearance to win the league. Crazy stuff.
I remember watching this on the tv, the first game after lockdown
You know what happened next after this game. Aston Villa not only spared their relegation, but they also returned back to Europe with Unai Emery. Sheffield United, on the other hand, got relegated the next season after this best Premier League finish. Even they made a swift return this season, the club is also disappointed again and are on verge of being relegated once more.
Edit: Turns out that both sides had a disappointing start this season. Aston Villa lost to Legia Warsaw, while Sheffield United is even worse (0-8 vs Newcastle United).
Ooo it was Michael Oliver. Nuff reason for an unbelievable error
So the lino is just a spectator then? Surely he can say something if it is clearly over?
Remembered watching it live… mad scene. Davis being there to push Nyland over the line may have also disrupted Hawkeye and saved us. People were too upset over this decision though, we had been robbed numerous times that season like at Crystal Palace when Friend blew on a perfectly fine goal. That free kick also came from a dive + that goal being allowed would have ultimately changed the rest of the game/season too so Bournemouth and Watford can have no complaints.
There is nothing prayer cannot do 😊. I struggled relegation anxiety with Villa between 2011 and 2015. I'm glad we are where we are today. We are Villa and we are proud 💪😊
And as a villa fan im happy
