The only explanation that I can come up with is that the team is trying to adapt to a new system. Currently, Utd are only 30% of the way there, injuries have exacerbated the situation. It is similar to how during Klopp's first season we used to give up leads easily.

Please stop blaming the Glaziers. They spent over a billion on players. Rubbish players were bought. They got rid of Mason Greenwood who is better than Antony. Now Antony is also being investigated. The crisis is how Maguire is still at the club and Jones only retired in the summer after however many years injured or whatever on the bench. That’s just touching the surface of it. There’s probably still 5 or 6 players that need to go and be replaced with younger, hungrier and more talented players. The irony is every time there’s a new manager you think ah give him a couple of seasons but it never seems to change. Saying that I want to see ETH for at least this and next season before he’s in the firing line, as let’s be honest the structure of the club and players have had a big part to play in the failures.

ETH, is lost. He doesn’t understand he needs to pair good players together. G’cho will match Hoj well to begin with. I find Martinez isn’t paired well on defense. I know opinons differ from all of us. There are no particular star players from Brighton but pairing the players and layering the field with back to back and pacing the team together whether in defense and attack will snap through with goals. What I am saying is; if u notice; F’dez and Delot worked hard covering everywhere whereas C’miro is on his own. There are no buddy-buddy system and that is why ETH id garbage. He only knows “Ajax” and EPL; esp Man U, isn’t a list of of lousy freaks. Got to know who back who and they have the comparable style of same play. Non of the man u players are garbage. Its ETH. He doesnt know who fits who for back to back coverage and layer the team so that it moves as one. ETH swaps players when something dont seem right on the field. BECAUSE HE DOESNT KNOW WHAT THESE PLAYERS NEED FOR BUDDYING. That is also why they get fracked easily with goals. You expect Onana alone to stop goals? You need the backs to syn with his play. You need Hoj and R’ford to score on their own? You need fast midfielders for Hoj style of play and 1-2/1-2 system for R’ford. Thats my opinion. Totally Hysterical games esp when you have a manager who cannot syn and layer the team to move as one.

Man United had a better season last year compared to the 2 or 3 that went before but other so called top teams were in transition, plagued with injuries or under performed.
