I think the game needs deeper roles and not just defenders, midfielders and forwards. Also/Or having players in the right category, Salah, Saka and Rashford as forwards for example.

Mark, the EO situation has been caused by content creators lol. Even in Salah's record 300-point season, I'm pretty sure his ownership never went above ~65%. Now we're only in GW4, and Haaland has 92%.
That extra ~27% is from casuals who are following content creators and sticking it on Haaland like sheep. And it's a chain reaction where we feel that we have to stick it on Haaland too for that reason (yes, I'm admitting I'm part of the problem)
Gotta love Andy's bias against Salah and Liverpool.

Listening to Mark blather on about EO and all I can think is… take a step back from FPL if it’s eating away at you this much! Clearly you are deriving no enjoyment from what is supposed to be a game

The Gulf in Quality between Mark’s Analysis and presentation compared to the rest of the field is Huge.
As a person pressed with time I will just concentrate on one which has the highest quality.

37:30 Why are all content creators so high on Man Utd? They're fixture run is not that great. Brighton concede a lot of xG but it is still a tough fixture (Newcastle scored only 1 against them). Also, based on early season data Crystal Palace and Brentford are good defensive teams. They only have two good fixtures in the next 5 (Sheffield and Burnley) and they are both away.
If you were looking at data over the last 19 games you would captain Rashford over Haaland
Salah (C) this week. Then gw6 going Saka/Johnson -> Rashford/Areola
Are Newcastle really going to completely nosedive as a club because they have to play 6 extra games? They got to a cup final last year and still finished 4th.

I get the cooling on Mbeumo, though for me he is a 'head' player- he keeps putting up the numbers even though I want to sell him almost every week – but I'm holding on b/c sometimes you have to go with your head even if your heart's not in it
