Looking at the teams that finished 3rd through 6th last season I would say Arsenal definitely have the easiest 5 games as a whole to start the season in August. On paper it should be a guaranteed 13 to 15 pts. Chelsea and Spurs meet each other in August at the Bridge, Spurs also have to go to the London Stadium in that month. Man Utd have Liverpool at Old Trafford in their 3rd fixture of the season, should they take a pasting, we could see a situation where moans start about whether Ten Hag was the right appointment and perhaps they should get Poch. So all in all we've been done a huge favour with the August fixture list. October should prove our first major test as a month, January fixtures just after the WC along with likely fixture congestion due to Europe and FA Cup could prove very trying. Where we have been done absolutely no favours is in the month of April when so much may be decided in the run in to the season. In conclusion, an easy start on paper with the chance to build early momentum but a tough penultimate month to the end of season when hopefully we will still also be in UEL and FA Cup.
