A better answer is the premier league is a better test of a teams overall quality than the champions league. You can get lucky or live off moments in the UCL hence the best team in Europe statistically usually doesn’t win it. That said it’s harder for the best teams to win than their leagues and it’s easier for the worse teams to win because they need luck and / or over performance over much fewer games to get the result.

Depends if you’re the best team or not. The best team will invariably win on a league format over 38 games. In knockout format then more chance of an upset

You can win the premier league after finishing anywhere the year before, you have to get top 4 before you can even have a crack at the champions league.

EPL has more difficulty. We have seen teams who didn't win the league title wining UCL same season. Chelsea, Liverpool, Real Madrid, Mlan etc. In UCL, you just need to be precise in those 13 games. Premier league is about concentrating on total 38. It's more tiring to a team .
