Give it a rest with the Newcastle time wasting talk. Such a lazy narrative. When asked, Eddie how made one comment about how we weren't able to play how we wanted to play, then moved on. Fans are talking about it because the team has been accused of it all season and we are merely pointing out that other teams do it too.

Man Utd bottling top four can be tied pretty easily to their defense and goalkeeper being more frail, leading to losing matches that they otherwise might have won.
And that is a result of Lisandro Martinez being out injured: not only is he a leader in the backline and raises the morale of the group, but he is also a fantastic defender that has been known to interruot dangerous plays and block shots on target.
So why may Man Utd apparently bottle Top 4? I'd say because Martinez went out and they had no adequate replacement that can stand in with similar value to the team.
