I've taken James and Chilwell out for Perisic and Zinchenko to put more money in midfield. Unless they improve in their next few pre season games they will be staying out at the start.

I'm just gonna give you the three reasons that convinced me to get rid of Cancelo (cuz I myself am a big fan of him in FPL)
1. I'm pretty sure ManCity will have a rough GW1 against West Ham and also pretty sure they'll concede at least 1 goal which ruins the CS. just take a look at how strong the front line of West Ham is and you see the sense in what I'm saying, Bowen Benrahma Antonio, and it's also a home game for them, so very good chance they score at least once vs City, and then comes the depression from the poor result where you look at your Ederson and Cancelo only scoring 2 points each for your team. If I am personally spending £7M on my defender I expect of him to score at the very least 6 points every GW.
2. this reason follows the previous one, I can spend the same amount of money on Bernardo Silva if I really want to have a City asset in my lineup. think about it, why not! we all know he's one of Pep's most favorite players and it's almost for sure that Pep will give him more minutes than any other midfielder, and he's much more likely to score points than Cancelo is.
3. You can bargain a reserve defender for £4.0m whereas this amount is £4.5m for a bargain midfielder, this means by getting rid of Cancelo you can actually save an extra £0.5m AND also adding up to your draft's consistency. in my opinion this would be a less risky approach.

Why is nobody looking at Sancho? He’s performed exceptionally in his preseason so far, i reckon he’ll be in the starting squad for Man U, the starting fixtures for the first 5 game weeks are alright apart from Liverpool.
You are onto something here mate. I love this team. It's really a site and forget team.
I think you need to get Sancho in, maybe instead of Mount. Confirmed starter and looks great in this new system.
If you're going without salah at least should have kdb or haaland

Hey, i heard that someone following the Chealsea camp training commented that Chilwell, still is not quite 100% so his still a bit of a ? – Also cancello, is he not more of a rotation risk, or at risk from being moved about to another spot over new defensive signings for MC? Could diaz be more nailed? to save 1mil?

Me : Lloris & Foden
Spurs defence is underrated under Conte so Lloris is differential and can get more saves and bonus points then Ederson…and Lloris had 3 more points than Ederson last season….and Foden yes…Foden=Diaz

This is my exact team except for now I have Martinelli (might move to Benhrama) instead of Saka to move around some money to the bench (Solanke / Bailey / Andreas). I don't care what anyone says but not having a bench ready is really going to cost you points. I have no idea where this myth comes from that says otherwise. Also thinking of going Chilwell -> Laporte because every season the pep roulette is going to screw you over somehow unless you own KDB or something. Those first 10 fixtures are really good for tripling up if you look at where City got their CS last season. I think people are overlooking that because it's the start of the season.

Cancelo Trent is undervalued. Cancelo costs 7.2m Tta costs 8.4m last season halfway through so they are undervalued.

You've only two city so you could go Ortega @ 4 mil as your back up as is now Edersons understudy. Might bring a problem if you need to bring in KDB or Haaland etc but it's good that Ederson has a 4 mil back up.
Definitely leaning towards kane over haaland. City tend to start the season with low scoring games and clean sheets. Haaland will take time to adapt. Worst case scenario it's your Gw2 transfer without using any funds. Worth kane for gw1 alone
Have you considered Salah instead of Kane with only Jesus up front?

This team really good and balance same time, but if your talking about Fantasy premier league it's Hard go forget the egypt king MOSALAH, even Manchester united fans should be Get Him in their Squad Hahaha… but this team Really Competitive .

Salah looks imperious in pre season, same as last pre season. The only reason he slowed down was jadedness after Africa Cup of Nations. That tiredness is gone after he's had a rest. Good luck without him, but I think he'll score a hatty against Fulham. Also I don't understand why people say it's more fun to do things like go without Salah. I guarantee its not more fun when he goes on a tear which is odds on. I think it's only fun in theory, never in reality.
The issue isn't the value of the defenders. It's the difference in value between the top defenders and cheaper defenders, and the top mids/fwds, vs cheaper counter parts. You still have to field 5 other players in midfield or forward slots. If they are getting you barely any points, it doesn't matter how good the defenders do. And although there are always cheaper mids that do well, your ability to get that slightly more expensive 7-8 mill mid or forward who goes on a tear is basically gone unless you make 2-3 trades to change your team around when you have all the expensive defenders. Makes it easy if you don't have Salah, but then Salah/Son/KDB out of reach.
Sterling/Martinelli or Mount/Saka?
No salah or haaland what a punt! Huge gamble but team looks solid 🤔🤔🤔interesting
This is probably the most stacked team I've seen yet. Risk without Salah, but if he doesn't start the season well or you're captaincies work out you're gonna be laughing.
Unreal draft! Minimal flaws but living without Salah will be hard to watch

I have to be honest I don’t like this squad. You have very little price point coverage at all as you already own most of the key players at the price points you have. Chelsea will be adapting to a very new back line,Cancelo notably outperformed his xA and I doubt will be given as many shots from target as I think they will look to move the ball forward quicker with Haaland and Salah has never scored below 230 points, a feat KDB,Son and Kane have only managed once each.
This seems like a “looks good on paper, until you have to make transfers squad”
